As a late 60′s protester of the vietnam war, I’m all too familiar with the streets of Madison. When there weren’t events planned in Eau Claire, we were in Madison even if it meant hitch-hiking down I-94 in the snow. I feel your determination and it gives me hope that finally we 60′s people have a new generation who will help bear the torch of liberty and freedom and social justice. It’s so much easier to do when standing in solidarity. Through the many pictures, blogs, video clips, and news reports, I’ve been able to participate, although somewhat vicariously. This much is real though, the friendships you’ve made, and the people whose lives have touched each other, become a palpable force to be reckoned with. The challenge is to use this force to complete the job that we didn’t. I’m with you!
